Apple will release the iOS 14 in 2020, but no exact date for now. Based on previous years we expect this new version of iOS are going to be released within the fall of 2020. It’s expected that Apple will release date iOS 14 in September 2020 – coinciding with the iPhone 12.
Assuming Apple follows prior years, it will likely unveil iOS 14 at its annual WWDC conference in May 2020. The first public beta version will follow a few weeks after the developer build is released.
iOS 14 Beta Program
The beta program for iOS 14 will release updates every few weeks to eliminate bugs. We expect the first public beta to arrive around 29 June 2020.
Unlike iOS 13, iOS 14 could be a major update with several new options. This new version of iOS will be compatible with a similar list of iPhones as iOS 13 (but apparently not the seventh-gen iPod touch). iOS 14 won’t support the fairly common iPhone and iPad models, together with the iPhone 6s.
